COURSE DESCRIPTION

To enable the candidate to extend and develop their professional makeup skills i.e. Day, Dinner / Evening, Bridal, basic special effects suitable for stage and photographic mediums. Using a variety of theatrical make up products to achieve:

  • Character make up

  • Old Age make -up  on both male and female models

  • Historical make up

  • Hairstyling & commercial training

 

COURSE TRAINING

Where the two modules, i.e. Photographic and Fashion Make Up and Media Make Up are studied at the same time the minimum training hours are reduced to 175

 

AWARD

CIBTAC Level 2 Diploma  in Photographic & Media Make Up

 

CIBTAC EXAMINATION

  • Theory Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)

  • Practical exam 3 hours

 

PORTFOLIO

Presentation of evidence required and course work

  •     - Bruising in all its phases of age

  •     - Grazes

  •     - Cuts

  •     - Burns

  •     - Puncture wounds

  • To replicate a variety of wounds using make-ups and prosthetics.
